buzz'd

did i say march 13, 2009?
well, it's not really march 13, 2009 today. i'm writing in the past. or i guess for the past.

it seemed so easy, coming up with a company name. we ran through a bunch of cliche coffee shop names (ie: perk this, brew that, grind around, cafe no duh, joe mama, wake the hell up, blah, blah, etc.) and decided that a feeling you get from coffee should be the way to go. we decided on the name "buzz'd" within one week of coming up with the idea to move forward with a coffee business. little did we know it would take much, much more research and time to nail the real business name down and let go of all the cliches. fast forward four more months ahead to the true company name discovery in july 2009, rook coffee inc.

and just in case anyone's interested, we own buzzdcoffee.com, buzzedcoffee.com, and buzzdcoffee.mobi. and, um, yeah...they're all for sale.
